QA Analyst (US Citizenship Required)


Location: Columbia, MD  - 50% Remote work

Archon Secure has a distinctive product, services, and integration company selling Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) and secure remote access to Worldwide Public Sector markets. Archon is the market leader in providing turnkey products and solutions to all areas of the government.

 Archon seeks an experienced QA Analyst to work with a world class team of software engineers and network architects to test, verify and support our Archon suite of products for secure communications. This position would be stationed out of our office in Columbia, MD and 50% remote work is acceptable.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and document test plans and test cases
  • Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings via test results
  • Ensure that product releases meet all the necessary requirements
  • Reproduce issues that are reported internally and externally
  • Participate in Tier-2 support cases that are reported by external customers

Required Job Qualifications:

  • University degree in a relevant field (CompSci, Mathematics, IT, etc)
  • Equivalent job/industry experience will be considered
  • 3+ years of experience in a QA team environment
  • Experience with test management software tools, such as TestRail
  • Proven ability to install, deploy, configure, test and support software products
  • Excellent verbal and written documentation skills
  • Self starter that is capable of working independently

The following additional areas are not required, but desirable:

  • Experience with test automation tools
  • Familiarity with GitLab/GitHub and issue tracking tools
  • Comfortable using/navigating multiple OS platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux)
  • Exposure to virtualization platforms (VMware, VirtualBox, Hyper-V)
  • Basic knowledge of security principals (PKI, certificates, VPN, encryption)
